Dorca E. Cruz García

My name is Dorca E. Cruz Garcia.

I am a graduate of Ana G. Méndez University (formerly Metropolitan University). In 2004, I earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration.

In 1996, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Office Systems from the same Ana G. Méndez University (formerly Universidad del Este).

In 1992, I earned an Associate’s degree in Secretarial Sciences (at the now-defunct Puerto Rico Junior College, which also belonged to the Ana G. Méndez University System).

I worked for the Government of Puerto Rico in various public agencies, one of which was the Department of Health as a Secretary; and in the Department of Family Affairs, Central Office, as an Office Systems Administrator in the Office of Internal Audit; and as a Labor Relations Officer in the Office of Human Resources.

In May 2013, from this last agency, I took advantage of the Early Retirement Incentive Act, and in this way, I gained experience as a Secretarial Instructor at the now-defunct MBTI in Santurce, and EDIC College in Carolina, as well as working as an Administrator in several condominiums in Carolina, Loíza, Trujillo Alto, among others.

Currently, I work as an assistant at an engineering firm, and I recently joined HMP Properties part-time to learn and develop my skills as a real estate agent.
